Financial and administrative arrangements for UN Sponsored
participants |
The organizers will provide free of cost, the following for
the participants sponsored by UNIDO or other UN bodies:
1. Pick up from Trivandrum
airport, and all Local transportation.
2. Full boarding and lodging (twin sharing basis) for
the duration of the Conference for the invited participants (4
days from arrival on 11 December till departure on 15 December
2007). Those who need single accommodation should pay the
difference and notify such needs in advance.
NEITHER HOST COUNTRY NOR UNIDO NOR OTHER SPONSORS WILL ASSUME
ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FOLLOWING COSTS:
i. Costs incurred by
participants with respect to travel from their home country or
duty station to Trivandrum and back, travel insurance,
accident insurance related to his/her attendance at the
Seminar;
ii. Compensation in the event of death, disability or
illness of the participant, during travel to and fro to the
Seminar and/or during the stay associated with it;
iii. Incidental costs incurred in connection with air
travel e.g. passport fee, visa fee, vaccinations, stopovers,
and travel to and from the home airports;
iv. Loss or damage to personal property of
participants attending the Seminar;
v. Purchase of personal goods or compensation in the
event of damage caused to such goods by climatic or other
conditions; and
vi. Expenditure related to Telephone, Washing and
other personal items.
