Arrival & Departures:
Trivandrum
is an international airport (Code TRV) in
Kerala, India, and has direct flights from
Singapore, Colombo, Male’, several of the
Middle East Countries (Dubai, Abu Dhabi,
Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia
etc.). There are daily direct domestic
flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore,
Chennai and Hyderabad to Trivandrum. For
more information on flight routings, you may
please contact the persons indicated in item
11 by e-mail. The distance from airport to
hotel/venue is around 10 km.
International Participants are expected to
leave their home countries/duty stations in
time to arrive in Trivandrum latest by night
of 11 December 2007. Upon arrival at
Trivandrum, they will be received by a
representative of the organizers, who will
further arrange their transfer to the
hotels, provided, the travel schedules are
intimated well in advance. Return transfers
to the Trivandrum airport, will also be
arranged by the organizers.
The Organizers will not be financially
responsible for earlier arrivals of the
participants or late departures after the
Seminar due to personal reasons or failure
to obtain confirmed tickets. Travel should
be finalized by participants prior to their
departure from home countries. If
Reservations on payment basis for additional
days are required, arrangements will be
made, subject to availability.
Participants are requested to inform the
UNIDO Regional Centre, through fax or email,
their estimated time of arrival at
Trivandrum (flight/train number included),
in order to facilitate prompt pick up.
